LinkDesks Classic Puzzle Games brings us Goods Story: Sort Puzzle, a title that sits comfortably in the increasingly crowded match-and-sort genre. The studio is known for casual mobile puzzles, and that DNA is visible everywhere here. Goods Story is a sorting puzzle game where you organize items on shelves, grouping identical products to clear space and complete orders. The presentation is bright and approachable: cheerful, cartoonish art with colorful packaging and clean storefront backgrounds. Sound design is light and unobtrusive, with satisfying pops and clicks when items snap into place, though the music loops quickly and can wear thin during longer sessions. The storyline is minimal, framed as a friendly shopkeeper restoring order to a chaotic store, which gives context without demanding attention.

Gameplay revolves around tapping items to move them between shelves, but the twist is spatial planning. You cannot place an item on a shelf unless it matches the top item or the shelf is empty, and limited slots force you to think several moves ahead. Special mechanics like locked shelves and timed bonus items add pressure, while power-ups such as extra slots or undo tokens offer relief. The core loop is genuinely satisfying: that click when a full set of identical goods locks together is the kind of small dopamine hit that keeps you playing. The difficulty curve is mostly fair, ramping from gentle warm-ups to puzzles that demand careful sequencing.

However, the game is not without flaws. The energy system and ad frequency can interrupt the flow, and later levels sometimes rely on trial and error rather than clever deduction. The minimal story and repetitive soundtrack do little to elevate the experience. Still, for a casual sorter, Goods Story delivers a polished, pleasant challenge. It is a solid pick for short breaks, even if it will not redefine the genre.

How to play?

Step1 🛒 Start by scanning the opening shelves: identify which item types are already grouped and which are scattered, because your first moves should clear easy pairs to free up space.

Step2 👆 Tap an item to pick it up, then tap a target shelf. Remember that a shelf only accepts a matching top item or must be completely empty, so never move blindly.

Step3 🧠 Plan two or three moves ahead: count available empty slots and avoid filling every shelf, since you will need breathing room to shuffle mismatched goods.

Step4 🔓 Watch for locked shelves and special items. Prioritize unlocking them early if the puzzle allows, because they block sorting and limit your options later.

Step5 💡 Use power-ups sparingly. Save undo tokens for moments when a single bad move traps you, and use extra slots only when the board is nearly full.

Step6 🔁 If you get stuck, restart the level rather than burning resources. A fresh look often reveals a sequence you missed, especially on levels with tight slot counts.

Step7 🎯 Aim to complete full sets of identical goods before chasing scattered singles, since clearing entire groups frees shelves and creates the empty space you need to finish the order.
