The art style maintains the unsettling juxtaposition of colorful, childlike toys against a grim, industrial backdrop, with new environments like the Playhouse offering fresh terrors. The story picks up right where Chapter 2 left off, following the player as they descend further into the factory's secrets, uncovering the tragic backstory of the employees and the monstrous experiments. A standout gameplay technique is the new gas mask mechanic, which allows players to navigate CatNap's poisonous gas fields, adding a layer of resource management that feels tense and rewarding.

The chapter introduces a few tricks that veterans and newcomers alike will appreciate, such as using the GrabPack to manipulate environmental hazards like electrical panels to create light sources or distract foes. How to play?

💀 Step 1: Start the game and watch the opening cutscene to grasp the story's context. You play as a former employee returning to the abandoned Playtime Co. factory.

🔦 Step 2: Use the left stick (or WASD) to move. Press the interact button (E) to pick up items like the GrabPack. The GrabPack has two hands; left-click and right-click control each hand independently for grabbing objects or pulling levers.

🎮 Step 3: In the first room, find the Red Door. Use the GrabPack to pull the valve wheel by aiming and left-clicking. This opens the door, teaching you basic physics-based manipulation.

👀 Step 4: Pay attention to audio cues. When you hear heavy breathing or a low growl, CatNap is nearby. Crouch (Ctrl) and hide in lockers or under beds. Use the flashlight (F) sparingly to avoid detection.

💨 Step 5: Encounter the gas-filled areas. Find a gas mask on a corpse. Equip it automatically when entering green smoke. On PC, hold Shift to run in short bursts; running drains oxygen faster. Conserve masks from statues throughout levels.
